Rain in February - it's better than snow and ice

What to do on a windy, rainy day....

Clean?  No, that would require changing the belt on my vacuum, and I don't feel like doing  that today.
Finish painting the half-finished room?  Nooo
Laundry, grocery shopping, re-caulk the tub?  Nah.
Spin?  That would be a big yes if I didn't have two of my 3 bobbins full and resting until I can ply the singles to the third bobbin.  (3 new bobbins are on the way, though.  Yay!).
Knit?  I've already knitted my bit on my Socks For Soldiers today, and learned and completed a beaded picot cast on for Ice Queen .  I'm up to row 4 of the chart.   I'm using 100purewool in light blue that has been waiting in my basket for a year or more.  It is so pretty with the sparkly beads.

I'm taking a little break from that.

I know - I can felt soap!  I received my Copperpot Woolies  Clubby package yesterday, and along with some stunning spinning fiber, I received a bunch of  fiber to felt and a bar of soap.  The idea is to felt the soap, send it back in the enclosed envelope to be entered in the contest.  The soap will then be donated to a local charity.  Here is my first attempt -

I'm so proud of my new skills.  I'm fairly confident the felt won't fall off.
I have some Body Shop soap, so I'll felt it too and send it along.
Hmmm, I wonder if all of my relatives would like a bar of felted soap.
I just bet they would, so I'd better get busy.

Oh, and boys?  I think it's time to break that little streak we have going with those fellas across the river.
